A1 العنزي، مشعل بن سليمان العدواني AB The study aimed to know the fact or scientific sections governance at Saudi universities according to academic leaders` points of view; defining the difficulties limiting form implementing scientific sections governance at Saudi universities according to teaching staff`s points of view, and submitting a proposal for implementing principles of governance at Saudi universities To reach these goals. A sample consisting of (383) teaching staff at Saudi universities was selected. It was based on a survey descriptive methodology and questionnaire as the tool for collecting data. The findings of the study reach at the fact of scientific sections governance at Saudi universities according to teaching staff`s points of view was average degree on all dimensions and after (transparency, accountability, Justice on imposing law, and expanding the participation on making the decision and solving the problem). Also, there are high difficulties, which limit from implementing scientific sections governance at Saudi universities according to teaching staff`s points of view. The most important factor for that is poor transparency and the unavailability of specialized units and committees to implement the governance principles in universities. Lastly, the study has prepared a proposal for scientific sections governance at Saudi universities.
