A1 ربيعان، سعود حمود AB The current study aimed to identify the effect of using of WebQuest in developing problem-solving skill and retention in Al Fiqh curriculum among first-grade secondary students in Hail region. To achieve the objective of the study, a quasi-experimental approach was used. The test was also used as a study tool consisting of (25) items that measure the ability of students to solve problems. The pre-test, post-test and delayed post-test were used. A purposeful sample of the study population was selected, which consisted of (53) first-grade secondary students from Hail, divided into two groups, experimental and control. The findings of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the performance of the experimental and control groups on the post-test and delayed post-test due to the use of WebQuest in favor of the experimental-group students. This study recommends to train educational supervisors to use the WebQuest in the development of problem-solving skills and the retention of learning among students as a method of teaching, in preparation for passing their experiences to teachers. It also recommends that the authors of Islamic education curricula pay attention to the importance of employing WebQuest in developing problem-solving skills and the retention of learning among students.
