A1 طلبة، هدى محمد محمدي A2 هدية، فؤاده محمد A2 أحمد، جمال شفيق A2 السرسي، أسماء محمد AB This present study drives at exploring the effectiveness of a rehabilitation program for improving quality of life in a sample of adolescents with down syndrome, by designing scale of pictured perceived quality of life. The study also aims to explore the persistent effect of the rehabilitation program in improving the quality of life for adolescents with down syndrome through the follow- up measurement. This study belongs to the experimental method, using the experimental design (pre/ post/ follow- up measurement for both groups, the experimental and the control groups). The researcher has used Stanford- Binet IQ scale- the fifth edition), using also, vineland scale for adaptive behavior, the scale of the socio- economic and cultural level and the pictured perceived scale of life quality for adolescents with down syndrome, as well as the rehabilitation program, to improve the quality of life for adolescents with down syndrome. : the study sample consists of 20 male/ female adolescents with mild mind retardation with down syndrome, whose ages range between (15- 18) years old. They are divided randomly into two groups: an experimental group (n= 10) items, on whom the program has been applied, and a group of (n= 10) who have not received the program. The study concludes with following results there are statistically significant differences between average scores of the experimental group in the pre/ post measurement regarding the components and the full score of the pictured perceived quality of life scale for adolescents with down syndrome, in favor of the measurement, there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre/post measurements of the control group regarding the components and the full score of the scale of the pictured perceived quality of life for adolescents with down syndrome.
