A1 الجذيلي، حسن محمد كاظم AB The current research aims to prepare a tool to evaluate the history teacher’s performance according to the criteria of teachers in the capacity building program (British Council) in graphical forms, and to identify the level of its contribution in developing their performance and their attitude towards employing them to improve their teaching performance. The research was applied to a sample consisting of (22) teachers from the fourth stage trainees at the department of history at the Open Educational College, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the semi-experimental approach, and after applying research tools and collecting, tabulating and statistically processing data using the SPSS program, the results showed the necessity of employing the fields, criteria and indicators that were included in the capacity building program in primary and secondary education as evaluation tools and developing the performance of history teachers. The results also showed there is a positive trend among the research sample towards employing them in developing their skills and in light of the results the researcher recommended the necessity of developing training and evaluation methods from by developing methods that are appropriate to the nature of specialization, it is suggested that similar research be conducted for the current research of teachers of other subjects.
