A1 الحناكي، عهود سليمان AB This study aimed to investigate the effect of an electronic program based on ASSURE model on improving listening skills in First Intermediate students in Riyadh. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher applied the experimental method with its quasi-experimental design, and she designed three elements: an electronic program based on ASSURE model, a listing comprehension test. Then she experimented, their reliability and validity. The study sample consisted of (82) female students from 1st intermediate class in 225 intermediate school in Riyadh. The two classes were divided randomly to two groups: experimental group which consisted of (41) students who studied through using an electronic program based on ASSURE model and a control group who studied through using the conventional way. After collecting data, a statistical process is conducted using SPSS software. The researcher concluded the following findings: 1) Providing an electronic program based on ASSURE model to develop listening skills in English for students of first-intermediate grade. 2) There was a statistically significant effect of the electronic program based on ASSURE modal on improving listening skills In First Intermediate students in Riyadh. According to Saudi vision 2030. The study recommended that English teachers should use the electronic program based on ASSURE model in teaching reading skills.
