A1 العياصرة، معن محمود أحمد A2 الحارثي، هند علي أحمد AB This study aimed to identify the degree of participatory leadership and its impact on reducing administrative problems in public education schools in Al-Taif city from the point of view of male and female teachers. The study population consisted of all male and female teachers of public education schools that follow the Department for Education in Al-Taif for the academic year (1434/1435) AH, whose number was (14519) teachers (males and females). A stratified random sample was selected amounting to (600) male and female teachers from among the study population. To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire was used as the main tool, where its veracity and stability were confirmed. The study findings were as follows: The degree of participatory leadership practice at public schools in Al-Taif from the point of view of male and female teachers was high. The degree of dominant administrative problems at public schools in Al-Taif from the point of view of male and female teachers was medium. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≤0.05) between the means of assessment of the study sample for the degree of participatory leadership practice at public schools in Al-Taif due to the variables (gender, years of experience and qualification). There were statistically significant differences between the means of assessment of the study sample for the degree of participatory leadership practice at public schools in Al-Taif due to the variable of educational stage (in favour of the primary and intermediate stages). There was a weak inverse correlation relationship with statistical significance at the level of (a≤0. 01) between the degree of participatory leadership practice and the degree of dominant administrative problems at public schools in Al-Taif. In light of the study results, the research submitted a number of recommendations; most notably: working to support the prevailing trend at public schools in AlTaif to practice participatory leadership through training programs and workshops.
