A1 الشاعر، خليل يوسف علي أحمد A2 آل محياء، سميرة سعيد علي AB The study was aimed to find out the effectiveness of a program based on cognitive behavioral counseling to development the positive thinking, among girl students with learning disabilities in elementary school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Najran. Study used quasi-experimental method and random sample consist of (20) students. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the control group and the experimental group in the pre-test. The results showed statistically significant differences at (0.002) between control group and the experimental group in the post test favor of the experimental group, and the effect size was (0.535) depending on the results of the study, the researchers recommended training counselors in primary schools to use cognitive behavioral counseling programs.
