A1 الحويطي، غادة حمود AB This research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a training program to the development of brain-based learning awareness among biology female teachers of the secondary stage in Tabuk city. Quasi-experimental design was used with a purposive sample amounted (39) teachers and the brain-based learning awareness scale, prepared by the researcher was pre- post applied to the sample of the study after training them on the prepared training program. Data were collected and statistically analyzed, and t-test results for correlated samples showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (a ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in pre-post administration of the awareness of brain-based learning scale in favor of the post application, also, t-test results for the independent samples showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (a ≤ 0.05) in the awareness of brain-based learning among biology female teachers in Tabuk city attributed to the number of the training courses. Also, the results of Blacke’s modified gain showed the effectiveness of the training program in the development of brain-based learning awareness. The research recommends the inclusion of the brain-based learning principles in biology curriculum and training female teachers on the application of these principles, evaluating curriculum and teacher in light of these principles.
