A1 الخليفة، نورة بنت عبد الرحمن A2 العبيكان، ريم عبد المحسن AB This study aims to identify the degree of the embedment of digital citizenship topics in the computer and information technology textbooks content in the secondary stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An analysis descriptive methodology was followed using content analysis method. The content analysis tool used consisted of 60 indicators and eight topics based on the commonsense education organization. The results showed that the percentage average of the embedment of the digital citizenship topics in content of computer and information technology textbooks in the secondary stage is very low (10.8%), and eight topics with the following percentages: (information literacy, 41.3%), (internet safety, 21.2%), (creative credit and copyright, 17.7%), (reputation & digital fingerprint, 5.2%), (relationships & communication, 0.9%), (cyberbullying & digital drama, 0.1%), while no embedment for the two topics: privacy and security, and self-image and identity. Consequently, the study recommends developing the secondary stage curriculum to include digital citizenship topics in the computer and information technology curricula and preparing teachers to teach these topics.
