A1 النملة، عبد الرحمن بن سليمان AB The reflective- impulsive (RI), as a cognitive style was examined among gifted secondary schools' students. The study sample consisted of (n=212) gifted male students at the secondary schools in Riyadh City. For data collection and testing of the study questions, the descriptive-correlative method was used. In order to measure the reflective/ impulsive style among the study participants, the scale of reflective/ impulsive was built and tested for its validity and reliability and used as the study tool. The results of the study revealed that the degree of reflective style among the gifted students is high. The results also showed no significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the study participants on the (RI) that can be attributed to the differences in their grades or majors. Finally, the findings of the current study were discussed and interpreted, and a package of recommendations and suggestions for future studies was provided.
