The qualitative approach was used as a methodology to achieve the study objectives. Hereinafter, the process of developing the standards and their indicators went through several stages, during which international documents were analyzed, in-depth interviews were conducted, and the standards and indicators were validated. The study concluded by developing 63 standards and 306 indicators that cover the SDGS all. Also, the study aimed to identify the extent to which the proposed standards and indicators are incorporated within the main subject guideline documents of the Palestinian curricula. Consequently, the descriptive-analytical approach was used where each subject guideline document was analyzed in light of the proposed standards and indicators. Results of the analysis showed that the standards and SDGS were unevenly incorporated in these documents. For example, SDG4 (quality education) achieved the highest percentage of inclusion with 28.5 percent, while SDG14 (underwater life) achieved the lowest percentage with 0.8 percent. Accordingly, the study recommends adoption of the proposed standards and indicators as a reference document for the development and enrichment of curricula in order to ensure that the SDGS-with their multiple aspects-are incorporated in the Palestinian curricula.
