A1 الحميدي، حنان خليل محمد AB This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of distance education in light of the spread of the Corona virus in teaching the first three grades students reading and writing skills from the point of view of classroom teachers in the Zarqa Governorate. class in the Capital Governorate using the questionnaire prepared for this purpose. This sample consisted of (50) classroom teachers in the Capital Governorate. The results of the study showed the evaluation of the effectiveness of Arab Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences distance education in light of the spread of the Corona virus from the point of view of classroom teachers in the Capital Governorate, which amounted to (2.45) with a standard deviation of (0.57) with a medium degree, and that all fields came to a medium degree, and this, although it was of a not high level, but It has justifications and motives for it, but most importantly, the serious harm that undoubtedly occurred to our children in the first grades and its negative repercussions on the level of their possession of reading and writing skills, which requires educational authorities in Jordan to think seriously about developing this pattern and finding plans and strategies for times of crisis.
