A1 رموش، كريمة AB The aim of this study is to know the intensity and impact of attentional disorders in dyslexic children. This category is known by the deterioration of its information processing system, then compared with another category of children who also exhibit a great deal of academic failure, and who exhibit excessive disorders in attentional processes, hence hyperactive children with attention deficit disorder. The aim behind this is to try to collect the characteristics of the two cognitive disorders, the process of the recognition of written words and the process of selective attention during the visual and selective focusing of written units, in children who may have these types of deficits, on the basis that these two categories of children group together the characteristics of each of these processes, and present a visual-attention-span dyslexic disorder. From this, the general content of this study mainly consists of the cognitive aspect, in a category of children who have attentional processes disorders which hinder the visual recognition of grapho-phonological units. This category of children often presents difficulties in these processes which result in a failure in learning to read. In order to achieve the objective of this study, we used the comparative approach, and we applied the negative priming test by steven tipper. This model focuses on the target and the distracting elements, but the representation of the latter is actively inhibited by attention so that it cannot compete with that of the target for control of the response. This model was applied to the lexical test tests, Inizan’s battery and the skylark, adapted to Arabic by researcher Mrs Saliha Guelabe of the University of Algiers. The results of this research demonstrated that attention disorder in dyslexic children is less severe than hyperactive children with attention disorder, and that the latter have the same type of fault as dyslexics but with a more acute intensity, which causes an explicit discomfort ,a distinct by distractors introduced in their visual fields.
