A1 المزمومي، عبد الله عويش AB The strategy of web quest is a new strategy in the field of education technology. Therefore, the current research aimed at finding out the impact of this strategy on knowledge achievement of mathematics for 1st grade secondary students. The study used the semi – experimental method, the experiment was applied to a sample of (50) students divided into two groups: an experimental group (taught by using web quest), the other is a controlled group taught in the traditional method. After analyzing the results by using t- test for two independent groups, the study showed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups in post-test application of achievement test in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended taking care of this strategy when teaching different educational curricula because of its features and characteristics that contribute to achieving the intended educational goals and conducting further researches which deal with other aspects of this subject.
