A1 الأعرجي، إبراهيم مرتضى إبراهيم A2 عباس، بيداء هادي AB The research aims to identify the abundance - scarcity mentality and the voluntary work intention for university students, compare each of abundance - scarcity mentality and the voluntary work intention according to the sex and specification variable, and identify the correlative relationship between the abundance - scarcity mentality and the voluntary work intention. Two scales were established for abundance - scarcity mentality and the voluntary work intention on a sample of (400) university students. The discriminatory power for the two scales was extracted using the methods of two extreme samples and internal consistency. For the abundance – scarcity mentality scale, the indicators of face validity and indicators of stability were extracted by retest method with value of (0.77) and by midterm retail method with value of (0.79). For the voluntary work intention, the indicators of face validity and indicators of stability were extracted by retest method with value of (0.80) and by alpha – Cronbach factor method with value of (0.82). The study results showed the research sample of the university students is characterized by abundance mentality and voluntary work intention, there are no statistically significant differences in the abundance - scarcity mentality or the voluntary work intention according to the gender and specification variable, and there is a correlation relationship between the abundance-scarcity mentality and the voluntary work intention.
