A1 بني عيسى، جهاد فالح محمود AB The study aimed to detect the effect of a training program based on cyclic inquiry in developing reflective thinking skills, among the tenth-grade students in chemistry in the Rak, where the researcher has used the semi-experimental approach. The study tried to answer the question: are there differences in the average scores of the students in the reflective thinking test between the control group and the experimental group, attributed to the training program based on the cyclic inquiry strategy? To achieve the objective of the study, a training program based on the cyclic inquiry was built, in addition to multiple - choice test, consisted of 30 items, to measure reflective thinking skills. The intentionally chosen subjects of the study include 88 students from the four sections of the tenth grade in Shaam school for primary and secondary education for boys, located within Ras Al Khaimah educational zone for the academic year 2014/2015. The subjects of the study were divided to two groups: a control group of 44 students studied in the usual way, and the experimental group of 44 students studied in accordance with the training program. The results of the study have indicated statistically significant differences in the average scores of the students in the reflective thinking test between the control group and the experimental group attributed to the training program based on the cyclic inquiry. In light of these findings, the study presents a number of recommendations and suggestions.
