A1 البادري، سعود مبارك A2 البوسعيدي، حمد بن عبد الله A2 الكندي، سيف بدر محمد A2 المقابلبي، زايد بن خليفة AB The study aimed to identify the reasons for the reluctance of professional competencies to apply for educational supervision and school management functions in southern Al-Batinah education, also to verify the presence of statistically significant differences in those reasons attributable to variables of job title, gender, educational qualification and years of experience, finally to reveal the proposed perception of treating the phenomenon of professional competencies for Applying for educational supervision and school administration jobs in Al Batinah South Education. The sample of the study consisted of (563) educators in the South Al Batinah governorate, A questionnaire was applied to them on the reasons for the reluctance of professional competencies to apply for educational supervision and school management functions. The results of the study showed that social reasons got the first rank while administrative reasons got second and personal reasons got the last rank, and all those reasons are at the intermediate level. The results of the study also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) attributable to the variable of the job title, while there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of gender, educational qualification and years of experience. in light of these results a suggested concept was formulated to treat the phenomenon of the reluctance of professional competencies from applying for educational supervision and school administration jobs in Al Batinah South Education.
