A1 شحادة، عامر صابر A2 قشمر، علي لطفي A2 مرعي، رزان AB The present study aimed to test the relationship between academic procrastination and achievement motivation among students of Al-Istiqlal University, and to uncover differences in the relationship between academic procrastination and achievement motivation due to variables (gender, academic level, and academic appreciation). The study sample consisted of (80) male and female students from Al-Istiqlal University, who are registered in the first semester of the academic year (2019/2020). They were chosen by simple random sampling method. This study adopted the survey and correlational approaches, and the data collected through the application of the academic procrastination scale with reference to the Abu Ghazal study (2012), and the achievement motivation scale with reference to Othman's study (2014). The study concluded with a set of recommendations, including: The differences in academic procrastination due to achievement motivation among students of Al-Istiqlal University on the first scale (Academic Procrastination Scale), the percentage of response to the overall score was very high, in addition to the differences in academic procrastination motivated by achievement among students of Al-Istiqlal University on the scale The second (achievement motivation scale) was high.
