A1 العبيدي، نور عبد الملك ناجي AB The aim of this study is to know the impact of (Perkins & Blythe) model in Acquiring of the fifth grade students of scientific concepts and the development of their motivation for excellence, the sample of the study included (46) students of the AL- Nahrawaan primary school students as (23) students for the experimental group which studied according to the Perkins and Blythe model, and (23) students for the control group which studied according to the traditional method, the test were prepared and it consisted of (30) items as multi-choice type, and the reliability estimate was (0.80). There was statistically significant difference on scientific concepts test and measure motivation for excellence for the experimental group which studied according to the Perkins and Blythe model. The study recommended several recommendations, including the need to adopting new teaching strategies.
