To achieve this goal, a random sample of academic students from the University of Mustansiriyah- College of Arts- Libraries and information sciences Dept. are surveyed and a questionnaire is organized as a tool for applying the study on the subjects of the surveyed sample. Principally, the electronic test was considered as an independent variable whereas the dependent variable was the students’ response. The designed questionnaire comprised of 40 questions distributed over two main sections. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between the electronic tests and the students’ response with an impressive confidence level (99%). This clearly explains the positive and effective impact of applying the electronic tests in higher education institutions, especially as the items of the questionnaire have proven explicit students’ willingness and acceptance to the electronic testing systems. In light of the results arrived at, the study presents the following recommendations: the focus on applying the electronic testing systems to keep pace with technological development in the educational environment, also the necessity of organizing workshops and seminars to disseminate the information awareness about such tests.
