A1 مطاوع، ضياء الدين محمد AB The problem of research was determined by a main question: what is the effectiveness of the educational institutions in establishing the endowment culture in Saudi society by using an evaluative matrix of the roles through an educational perspective? This main question is divided into the following questions: 1) what are the effective educational institutions in establishing the foundations of the endowment culture and disseminating it in Saudi society? 2) What are the founding roles of educational institutions of the endowment culture and its dissemination in Saudi society? 3) What is the evaluative matrix of the roles of educational institutions in the establishment of endowment culture elements and its dissemination in Saudi society? 4) What is the effectiveness of the educational institutions in performing their constituent roles for the elements of endowment culture and its dissemination in Saudi society? The descriptive approach was used to review the relevant literature; to devise the constituent elements of the endowment culture, and then an evaluation matrix was designed for the effectiveness of educational institutions in establishing and disseminating the elements of endowment culture. A questionnaire was prepared to evaluate the roles of educational institutions in establishing the foundations of endowment culture and publishing it by using the evaluative matrix. 40 educators were participated from the western region in Saudi Arabia in answering the questionnaires through five discussion workshops carried out by the Dallah volunteering academy for Jeddah, during the period from 29 / 7 till 3 / 8 / 1439h. The results showed that the evaluation of the community institutions roles in establishing and disseminating the culture of endowment ranked (54.8%), which reflects the limited role of the institutions not at the hopeful level , the educational institutions received the highest relative assessment for their roles with (68.9%), followed by the religious institutions as a second rank (64.3)%), followed by the family with (60.1%), media (52.6%), , the legislative and security bodies at 5th rank (50.4%), social and sports organizations (44%), and finally health organizations ranked 7th (43.5%). The study concluded with a number of recommendations and proposed future studies.
