A1 غفور، كمال إسماعيل AB This study was conducted in Iraq and aims to know "the effect of integrated learning in the achievement of fifth primary grade students in mathematics and their contemplative thinking". The researcher used the experimental method in his study and chose a sample of (33 students) from the fifth grade in Al-Amani Primary School in governorate of Diyala in Muqdadiyah district. A randomly selected group presenting section (A) was chosen as an experimental group consisting of (19) students taught according the integrate learning and section (B) presenting the control group consisting of (14) students were taught in the usual way. The researcher prepared two tests, the first achievement test consisting of (20) items and the second was in the skills of contemplative thinking consisting of (20) items and validity, consistency, the coefficient of difficulty, and the coefficient of discrimination using appropriate statistical means. After applying the test on the research sample and analyzing the data and the researcher concluded that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean grades of the experimental group which studied the scientific subject according to the integrated learning and the average score of the control group which studied the scientific subject in the usual way in the achievement test and there were no significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the test of meditative thinking skills.
