A1 حواس، نجلاء يوسف يوسف أحمد AB The present research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using generative learning to develop Tabuk first grad secondary school female students creative thinking in Arabic subject. The research adopted semi experimental approach that based on two groups design with pre-post measurement. The sample of (60) female first grade secondary school students was devided into two groups ( the experimental group studied using generative learning model while control group studied using traditional method ) Tools of the research was prepared ( teacher manual, student guide, creative thinking test to measure ( fluency, flexibility ,originality and elaboration.) Data was analyzed using T-test for independent samples and Eta- squared test (n2). The following resuts was achieved: - there was a statistical difference between average scores of control and experimental groups in creative thinking post – tes regarding skills ( fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration). The generative learning model was effective in developing flency, flexibility, elaboration and finally originality (i.e)the effectiveness of the model in developing students ,creative thinking skills . the researcher recommended training teachers on using generative learning model in reaching Arabic and developing secondary school female students, creative thinking skills.
