A1 شحاته، نشوى رفعت محمد AB This research aimed at investigating the effect of varied types of interaction in electronic environments based on anchored learning on professional diploma students' interactive-simulation software design skills at faculty of education. Towards that purpose، the necessary interactive simulation software design skills were identified using Author ware. Criteria for designing electronic environments based on anchored learning were also identified. Moreover, an electronic environment based on anchored learning was designed. An achievement test and an observation checklist of the sampled students' interactive-simulation design skills were also designed. The sample of this research consisted of two basic research groups. The first group interacted synchronously. On the other hand، the second group interacted non-synchronously. Findings of this research revealed that there was a statistically significant difference at ≥ 0.05in the post-test of achievement and in the post-application of the observation checklist in favor of the experimental group of students who interacted synchronously.
