A1 إبراهيم، خالد خليل AB The problem of this study emerges from the fact that the interest in the teaching / learning process in schools became a distinguished interest of the developed countries nowadays. The modern educational view shifted to show more interest in the role of the active teacher who participate with other teachers in educational and collaborative work. This study aims at finding out the effect of discussion and conference in the achievement of intermediate school student. The results of the study were in favor of the first experimental group on the second one in the post-test performance scores, and in favor of the first experimental group on the controlling group. On the light of the above mentioned the study recommends that the traditional methods of teaching should exclude in teaching Islamic education.
