A1 الرويلي، نواف بن عبد الله AB This research aimed at finding out the problems of classroom control among basic education stage teachers in the region of Al-Jouf, Saudi Arabia. The sample consisted of (78) male teachers ranging in age from 23 to 56 year with an average 35.7 years and S.D. 7.1 years. The researcher used a form of the teacher’s personal data, and the scale of classroom discipline problems ( prepared by the researcher). The results of the first hypothesis revealed that there was a statistically significant difference in classroom discipline problems among teachers as a whole at the o.o5 level in favor of intermediate stage school teachers. Concerning the sub hypotheses, there was no significant difference in the simple behaviors whereas there was a difference in the ongoing behaviors at the 0.05 level in favor of the intermediate stage school teachers, and at the 0.01 level in favor of the primary stage teachers. Besides, the results of the second hypothesis showed that there was a significant difference in the classroom discipline problems in favor of the teachers with a diploma, and in favor of those less than 35 years old at the level 0.01. However, no significant differences in the variables of length of service and the status of the teacher (citizen / contractor). The researcher interpreted the results according to the theoretical background and previous studies. Recommendations and suggestions for further studies were presented.
