A1 الصالح، محمد بن علي AB The study aimed at identifying of the students’ expectations of their scores as a method of performance evaluation and its role in monitoring and quality assurance at the university of al-jouf. The sample of the study included (240) students from the faculties of education and administrative sciences and humanities at the university of al-jouf. The results showed that there was a difference among the students of the faculties of education and administrative sciences and humanities at the level 0.01 in favor of their expected scores before the test. There was also a difference in favor of the male students at 0.01 in the special education and psychology departments whereas there was no differences in the department of curriculum and instruction.
