A1 علي، عبد الهادي عبد الله أحمد AB This study aims to know the effectiveness of meta cognitive strategies on developing achievement and marketing skills and the attitude towards the subject for technical and commercial high school students. The simple consists of 66 high school students from helwan technical and commercial secondary school for girls in Cairo the sample is divided into 2 groups one is controlled group which consists of 34 students who study by regular way. The other group is experimental group which consists of 32 students who study by using meta cognitive strategies. The researcher prepares achievement test marketing skills test and the measure of attitude towards the subject to measure the achievement of study group. The results of the study show that there are differences which indicate statistician at the level ( ,01) in the achievement and marketing skills and the attitude between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied by using the meta cognitive strategies for the experimental group. This study ends with some of suggestions and recommendations which can help in developing the teaching process in commercial secondary learning.
