A1 علي، سعيد عبد المعز AB The present study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning strategy in developing some citizenship concepts through answering the following questions: 1( What are the citizenship concepts appropriate for a kindergarten child? 2( What is the proposed perspective of units based on the strategy of problem-based learning strategy for kindergarten child?3. What is the effectiveness of the problem based learning strategy in developing some citizenship concepts for kindergarten child? A total of 60 children, in a kindergarten located at The Experimental Cairo School of Languages, comprised the sample study. An experimental group was determined and exposed to the suggested program, and another group was used as a control treatment taught in a traditional way. It took 5 weeks to apply the study, 2 days a week. After applying the program, a portrayed program was applied to the both groups: experimental and control, finding out the averages and standard deviations. The researcher used T test to demonstrate significant differences which were attributed to the suggested program used. The results showed that the differences were significant (P < 0.01) in the average of citizenship concepts of kindergarten children. This reveals that the suggested program is effective in developing some citizenship concepts in kindergarten children.
