The research sample included (300) Saudi housewives from different levels of social and economic status.- empirical sample (40) Saudi housewives from Jeddah and Bahra, the research method used was descriptive analytical approach also the semi-empirical, the tools included in the research (1) family general information form (2) measurement of consumer awareness of water consumption (3) effectiveness of the induction program for the development of awareness of water consumption among Saudi women. The results indicate that there is a correlation between the variables of economic and social levels and all dimensions of the level of awareness about water consumption and the level of consumer awareness of water as a whole, and the variables of water consumption patterns. It showed the results to the sample test after applying indicative programme; the differences are statistically significant in all dimensions of consumer awareness and the level of consumer awareness as a whole before and after the application of the indicative programme. This confirms the effectiveness of the pilot programme to raise awareness of the level of water consumption to householder’s sample empirical research. The researcher recommends the enhancement of women consumer awareness of in rationalizing the consumption of water through programmes and information campaigns that are presented through different media consistently.
