A1 شمو، محاسن إبراهيم AB The present research aims at investigating the effect of team teaching on female students' achievement in Nutrition Unit in family education syllabus of the first year intermediate level in Al Madinah Al Monawarah. The tenth intermediate school at Al Awali was selected for implementing the research experiment .The sample of the study was consisted of (70) students who had been randomly selected and divided into two groups experimental and control with (35) students in each group. The T test proved that two groups were equal in their previous knowledge achievement. The research followed the experimental design in which the experimental group was team taught by two teachers who had been trained in using models of team teaching strategy, while the control group was taught by another teacher using the regular method. The experiment continued for (8) weeks in which the four topics of the unit were taught .The results showed a significant difference in students' achievement in both theoretical knowledge and practical aspects in favor of the experimental group. Also, team teachers showed their satisfaction with team teaching for its numerous usefulness. In addition, team teachers insisted for the generalization of this strategy to all teachers of family education in the Saudi Kingdom. The researcher provided some recommendations that include the involvement of team teaching in the realm of Saudi general education. Also, she recommends the involvement of team teaching in initial teaching practice program for student teachers of family education. In addition, she recommends the implementation of team teaching in programs of in-service training of family education teachers. The researcher suggests further studies that investigate the effect of team teaching on other variables such as students' attitudes toward learning family education subjects, motivation of learning, classroom management, and teachers' satisfaction of team teaching.
