A1 الفايز، فايز بن عبد العزيز A2 الملحم، عبد اللطيف بن صالح A2 التركي، عبد الله بن سعيد AB The study aimed to evaluate the degree of effectiveness of the content, performance and assessment dimensions of the academic programs offered by the College of Applied Studies and Community Service, King Faisal University. The aim was to identify the obstacles limiting the effectiveness of these programs, and thus providing some suggestions for developing them. To fulfill the purpose of the study, the researchers used a questionnaire to collect the data. The randomly selected sample of the study represented 11 % of the whole population and it consisted of 65 male and 41 female students and 14 male faculty members, and 12 female faculty members. The study found that the dimensions of the content, performance and assessment effectiveness had high scores of 3.49, 4.6 and 3.41, respectively. Likewise, the mean score of all the three evaluated dimensions was also high (m = 3.5). On the other hand, the mean score of the dimension related the obstacles was found to be 3.37, which falls in the middle score category.
