A1 القحطاني، عبد الله AB The study aimed at identifying the role of organizational culture in activating the participation of tacit knowledge on the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University. The study also aimed at determining the statistical differences in the answers of the faculty members and the extent of their impact on their personal and functional characteristics. The study society consisted of faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, a random sample of (143) individuals. The study concluded that: the four organizational culture components identified in the present study have a significant effect on the activation of tacit knowledge sharing. The most influential elements were organizational beliefs followed by organizational expectations, organizational values, and finally organizational norms. The study showed statistically significant differences in the effect of organizational values and organizational beliefs on activating the tacit knowledge sharing of the gender variable. Also, there were statistically significant differences in the effect of the organizational values and organizational expectations of the nationality variable, scientific, and academic experience. The study focused on increasing the awareness of faculty members about the role of organizational culture in activating the participation of tacit knowledge through seminars and meetings that work to develop the spirit of work collectively.
