A1 محمد، طارق صلاح عباس A2 حسن، جمال خيري محمود A2 حامد، محمد فهيم إبراهيم AB هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف فاعلية استخدام المدخل الكشفي في تدريس مقرر أساسيات الإنتاج الحيواني في التحصيل المعرفي وتنمية بعض المهارات العملية لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي الزراعي. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من مجموعتين إحداهما مجموعة تجريبية وعددها (40) طالبا والأخرى مجموعة ضابطة وعددها (40) طالبا. وتكونت مواد البحث وأدواته من: دليل المعلم لتدريس وحدة "رعاية الحيوان" وفقا للمدخل الكشفي، وكتاب الطالب، وكذلك اختبار التحصيل المعرفي، وبطاقة ملاحظة للجوانب الأدائية للمهارات العملية المتضمنة بوحدة رعاية الحيوان. وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث قبليا على مجموعتي البحث التجريبية والضابطة ثم التدريس للمجموعة التجريبية باستخدام المدخل الكشفي، والتدريس للمجموعة الضابطة بالطريقة المعتادة. وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث بعديا واستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة لحساب الفروق بين متوسطات درجات طلاب المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى فاعلية استخدام المدخل الكشفي في تدريس مقرر أساسيات الإنتاج الحيواني في التحصيل المعرفي وتنمية بعض المهارات العملية لدى طلاب المجموعة التجريبية مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة. (ملخص المؤلف) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB The current research aimed at find out the effectiveness of using discovery approach in teaching the basics animal production in cognitive achievement and developing some practical skills for the first year of agriculture secondary school students. The research group consisted of two groups, one experimental group (40) students, and the other a control group (40) students. Research materials tools included teacher guide for teaching unit about “Animal Care” according to the discovery approach, student book, as well as achievement cognitive test, and a checklist to measure the performance in the practical skills in the “Animal Care” unit. The tools of the research were pre-administered to the two groups of the research experimental and control. The experimental group was taught by using the discovery approach, while the control group was taught by using the traditional method. The tools of the research were post- administered and appropriate statistical procedures were used to investigate the differences in the means of scores between experimental group and the control group. The results of the research showed that using the discovery approach was effective in cognitive achievement and developing some practical skills of the first year agriculture secondary school students for the experimental group students compared to the control group students.
