A1 محمد، عبد النعيم عرفه محمود A2 عبد الواحد، إبراهيم سيد أحمد AB The current research aimed at identifying the effect of some social emotional learning skill training on university engagement and achievement motivation among university students. Both scales of university engagement and achievement motivation (prepared by the researcher), were administered to a sample of (200) university students so as to verify their psychometric properties. Basic sample comprised of (40) students divided into either experimental or control groups. After the conduction of the proposed training program on the experimental group as well as administering the aforementioned scales on both groups, data were statistically analyzed. Results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores attained by the experimental group on the pre – post tests of university engagement and achievement motivation, in favor of the post measurement. There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores attained by the experimental and control groups on the post-test of university engagement and achievement motivation, in favor of the experimental group.
