A1 بن سيف، ريما سيف سليمان A2 كعكي، سهام محمد AB The study aimed at determining to how extent the Secondary school Principals and their agents are practicing the learning leadership roles; and to diagnose their real practice for those roles in light of the national program for schools development in Riyadh city, in addition to revealing the statistically significance differences regarding the practice of secondary school leaders for the learning leader’s roles and the barriers that disable its practice. Study sample was (49) Principals and (120) agents from the study community through using a descriptive study and a questionnaire. The study found that principals and their agents in Riyadh secondary schools always they are practicing the learning leadership roles. Most important barriers that disable the Principals to practice the learning leadership roles were limited authority, deficiency in insufficiency of feedback utilization. There were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample members on the extent of the exercise of these roles and constraints according to the variable function and the scientific qualification, while differences were found due to years of service and training courses.
