A1 آل حمود، سعد بن عبد الرحمن AB This study aimed at preparing standards for selecting non-Saudi staff and realization indicators from the viewpoint of academic leaders at Saudi universities. It applied the descriptive approach. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was designed to answer 95 questions by academic leaders from 14 Saudi universities, at different (20) majors. The study conducted five standards for selecting non-Saudi staff in addition to realization indicators for each of these standards. The responses of study respondents on all proposed standards are within the fifth category of the five scale, that refers to (strongly agree) degree with mean (4.51). These standards can be respectively arranged according to means and importance degree as the following: Personal characteristics with (strongly agree) degree and mean (4.77 out of 5), followed by teaching with (strongly agree) degree and mean (4.66 out of 5), then scientific qualification with (strongly agree) degree and mean (4.49 out of 5), after that society service with (strongly agree) degree and mean (4.47 out of 5), and finally scientific research and progress with (agree) degree and mean (4.15 out of 5).
