A1 الخالدي، هاني سليمان أحمد AB This study aimed to find out the ability to predict emotional strength (adherence, control, and challenge) in the two dimensions of anger (status and attribute) among high-school students. The questionnaire of psychological rigidity and anger measures was applied to 834 high school students in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using the random cluster method. The researcher followed a descriptive approach in collecting and analyzing the data. The results revealed that adherence and control have a predictive ability for anger as a characteristic with an amount of 8.5% as an explained variance while predicting adherence, control, and challenge for anger as a condition was registered with an amount of 16.5% as an explained variance. The results also show that both male and female students have a high level of emotional strength and that the level of anger among them is low. Finally, no significant statistical differences were found in the emotional strength, adherence, control, and challenge and anger as a status that can be attributed to sex. However, there were statistical significant differences in anger as an attribute in favor of female students.
