A1 معوض، ربى عبد المطلوب A2 السبيعي، رفعة سعود AB This research aimed to compare between depression and academic stress among King Saud University female students, studying in social and humanities disciplines (Art, Education, Business, Linguistics and Translation, & Law and Political Studies), as well as the correlation between academic stress and depression. 409 students participated in this research, with a mean age of 22.5 years. They answered the academic stress test and the depression test. Pearson correlation coefficient, and one- way analysis of variance was used to analyze the data. Results indicated a significant correlation between academic stress and depression. Our findings also showed no differences between stress and depression within disciplines, grade point average, & the academic year.
