A1 طه، نهى إبراهيم فتحى إبراهيم AB The present study aimed to determine reality of electronic professional development and its impact on teaching and learning processes in the light of female teachers’ views at Taif schools in Saudi Arabia. The researcher analyzed questionnaire responses which applied to a random sample of the study society to determine the current reality of electronic professional development and its impact on teaching and learning, On the main constraints of the application in the light of their views. The study sample consisted of 103 schools divided between 55 for the primary and 43 for the intermediate and 5 for the secondary stage. The most prominent results were the agreement of the teachers in different educational stages to benefit from the electronic professional development and increase their ability to activate modern and contemporary teaching methods for the current digital age. The study recommends the need for a radical transformation in the development of teaching methods and patterns of education and its fields in line with the changing and accelerating technical challenges.
