A1 عبد الخيبري، هبة A2 صدّيقي، زكي شاكر AB The aim of this research is to study the effect of “giving intent” model on enhancing the performance of female teachers at a private high school in Jeddah. The researcher followed participatory research method and the study sample consisted of (5) teachers with different specialties. The researcher used different tools for data collection such as focus groups (before and after), observation, contemplation, proper interventions. One of the most prominent findings of the research that the application of the model “giving intent" in the classroom has improved significantly the performance of teachers at both professional and social levels. The model also enhanced teacher calmness and allowed them to manage stress while they were in class with students and during their interactions with their teacher colleagues. In addition, the model has improved teacher's capabilities in handling old time disputes with life partners and friends. This study recommends that action research should be adopted among the basic tasks of teachers of different subjects. Also, the intent model should be the basis of institutional development and the enhancement of the performance of teachers of all subjects.
