A1 بريكيت، أكرم بن محمد بن سالم AB The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a proposed teaching model based on modern trends in teaching writing in developing writing skills and reducing writing anxiety levels among middle school students. The study sample consisted of 47 students for both experimental and control groups. To achieve the purpose of the study, a scale of writing anxiety reduction was designed, in addition to a proposed model based on modern trends of writing. The results of the study revealed a statistically significant difference between the post- and pre-tests in the development of persuasive writing skills and reducing writing anxiety levels.
