A1 فرج، أحلام خميس AB This research is restricted to the extent of the art education teachers’ use of the modern strategies in the methods of teaching art education. The research is confined to the research community made up of teacher of primary schools and three teaching strategies that are (cooperative learning, mental storming and problem-solving) strategies. The researcher uses the descriptive approach as it is the most appropriate method that can be verified throughout the study. She displayed it on experts of questionnaire forms (the instruments) for verification and to be displayed in its final form throughout the present study. The constancy was calculated by the method of test and t-test as it was (0.91). The researcher uses chi-square and person correlation coefficient and the percentile weight and the preferred means as statistical means. The research results were as follows: the cooperative learning strategy was the strategy most used in teaching followed by mental storming and finally problem-solving strategy which was considered was weak and unverified. The researcher recommended many recommendations in the light of the findings of the study. She also suggested making studies in other strategies in teaching of art education, and making similar studies in the employment of modern strategies in the intermediate stage.
