A1 الساعدي، يوسف فالح محمد A2 الازيرجاوي، رنا سعد سالم AB The present study aims at identifying the Effectiveness of Two Strategies in role playing and active discussion Achievement of Fifth- Grade Primary School Female Pupils for The Scientific Concepts. The study is limited to fifth-grade primary school female pupils in one of the Education directorate schools / ALRussafa The first, the sample of the study has been chosen deliberately from Iraq AL-Khair for girls which chosen randomly, The three groups were equalized by the variables of ( intelligence, pre knowledge in science, pre achievement, age, attitudes towards the material). The researcher adopted the experimental design with partial adjustment of three groups ( two experimental groups and control one)of posttest. The three units of the sciences textbook / fifth grade / 3rd edition / 2012 are used to be the materials of the experiment. The behavioral purposes have been formulated which reached to (250) behavioral proposes, the instruments of the study were two achievement tests in sciences, one of them consisted of (40)items, the second one is subjective of multiple choices of four alternatives according to test plan to measure the first three levels of Bloom's (remembering, comprehension, application). The face and content validity of the test have been ensured and the psychometric features of the test have been found out by using KR-Richardson20 equation and the reliability was (0.82), The results of the achievement test of the scientific concepts were in favor of the first experimental group on the two other groups the second experimental group and the control one, The results of the achievement test of the scientific concepts were in favor of the second experimental group on the control one. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended with the necessity of adopting role playing strategy and active discussion strategy in increasing the achievement and attitudes of the female pupils in sciences. And as a complement for this study the researcher suggested a similar study in other stages and grades and other variables.
