A1 شريف، أسماء بسام A2 الدولات، عدنان سالم A2 المومني، إبراهيم عبد الله A2 السعايدة، منعم عبد الكريم A2 بني خلف، محمود حسن AB This study aimed at investigating the effect of Using Social Learning Networks on Modifying the Alternative Biological Concepts and Developing Creative Thinking Skills among the Ninth Grade Female students in terms of their self-efficacy level. The study sample consisted of seventy two female students divided equally into two groups: experimental and control group. The two groups were appointed randomly from the public Second University Housing Schools in the Al-Jama'a district of the directorate of education. The study was conducted during the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. As for the data collection, three tools were designed: a Diagnostic test for the alternative conceptions of biological concepts. The critical thinking skills test, and the self-efficacy scale. The validity and reliability of the instruments were verified by the suitable educational and statistical methods. The study concluded that there were many alternative biological concepts. Key concept among of which prorate as (96%) for Respiration. (93%) Circulation, (70%) Digestion and (96%) Excretion. The Data of the study were processed statistically by using the (2-way ANCOVA) and (MANCOVA). Furthermore, the Results showed that female students performed better with a teaching method based on Social Learning Networks over that of the regular method on modifying alternative biological concepts and developing creative thinking skills (Flexibility, Originality, Fluency, Sensitivity to Problems), and explained respectively (%68.3), (%85.4) of variance in the dependent variable. Modifying alternative biological concepts has been achieved, and the development Creative Thinking Skills is shown to be better among female students with high Self-efficacy. In the light of these results, this study recommended using Learning Networks in teaching biology throughout the basic educational stage and all educational stages.
