A1 الحموري، فراس أحمد A2 عبابنه، محمد أحمد AB The study aimed at identifying the effect of gender, age and intelligence in the conservation ability among a sample of (91 female) and (91male) students aging from 5-11 years old. The sample of the study was chosen from Irbid directorate of education schools for the second semester (2016), using the convenience sampling method. To achieve the purpose of the study standard conservation tasks were used to measure the child conservation ability for number, length, mass, size, weight and volume, and raven’s progressive matrices were used to measure intelligence. The result of chi2 showed that there were no significant differences (α = 0.05) in the conservation ability according to children’ gender. Results of the logistic regression analysis indicated that age could be used as a predictor of all kinds of conservation ability except number conservation ability which was related with intelligence, while there was no predictive power of child’s gender in any type of conservation ability.
