A1 الصنعاوي، عبد الله بن فهد AB The aim of this study was to identify the alternative assessment methods used to evaluate the performance of the third grade students in the Shari'a law courses. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive method and prepared a note card containing a list of alternative assessment methods. (20) Teachers, according to which the alternative assessment methods used. The study found several results, including that the use of forensic science teachers for alternative evaluation methods such as performance-based assessment was intermediate in the three stages (planning-implementation-feedback). In light of these results, the researcher recommended the training of teachers in the construction of the functions of the performance in the forensic science and use as a method of alternative assessment methods, and benefit from international experiences and educational research in the field of alternative assessment methods. The researcher also recommended the use of e-learning (smart software programs), and employing these programs correctly in the evaluation process, so that it is a method of alternative evaluation in the courses of forensic science.
