A1 عمر، عمر موسى الحسن AB This study aimed at identifying the status of using multimedia to teach science in the intermediate schools at Al-Ahsa province. The study used the descriptive analytical method in which a questionnaire was administered to 91 teachers who constituted the sample of the study selected from three schools at three locations in the province: Al-Houf, Al-Mubaraz, and the Villages Girls’ schools during the second semester of the academic year 1437-1438.The findings of the study suggested that the teachers have a clear understanding of the concept under investigation and that multimedia is extensively used in teaching science. Additionally, the results showed gender differences, with the female teachers making more uses of multimedia than their male counterparts. Furthermore, both male and female science teachers reported no obstacles in using multimedia in the teaching and learning process.
