A1 القحطاني، عبد العزيز بن سعيد محمد A2 سعد، السيدة محمود إبراهيم A2 شاهين، عادل طاهر AB The purpose of this study is to investigate quality assurance management and its improvement at King Khalid University as one of the standards of the National Commission for Assessment and Academic Accreditation, within the framework of analyzing the extent of compliance operations of quality assurance at King Khalid University. This field study aims to explore the view of the participants in the operations of quality assurance about the standards of these processes in terms of availability under the current situation in order to achieve a quality system by testing a number of variables. The sample of the study consists of (183) faculty members from King Khalid University. The most significant findings of the field study show that the averages of indicators of applying quality assurance are all high. It has also been found that there are no significant differences between the mean scores of sample evaluation (vice-deans of quality and development, heads of quality units, members of main committees for quality). The results confirm an agreement in the sample according to gender (males - females) about the application of quality assurance in King Khalid University, and agreement according to position (vice dean of development and quality, head of development and quality unit, member of a quality committee) about the quality of applying the standard of quality assurance and improvement at King Khalid University.
