A1 البديوي، سلطان بن عبد العزيز AB The study aimed to develop pre-service teaching in the general diploma program in education at Qassim University in light of the national and international quality standards. The study adopted a descriptive method to define the difficulties of pre-service teachers as its nature and degrees of its existence. The study prepared a questionnaire consisting of (42) points divided into three themes. Responses to the questionnaire are answered using a tri scale to determine whether the sample agrees to the difficulties (agree, neutral, disagree) to meet the grades (3, 2, 1), respectively. The study's questionnaire was applied on 200 male/female students of general education diploma in light of three variables (gender: male / female - major at the bachelor degree - the Grade Point Average (GPA) in the first semester). The study found that the highest difficulties were the difficulties related to the college, which received the lowest average, followed by the difficulties related to the evaluation process, and finally the difficulties related to the school and its equipment. The study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the students' responses to the identification of the difficulties of pre-service teaching and the variables related to (gender: male / female - major at the bachelor degree - the Grade Point Average (GPA). The study also developed recommendations for the practice of pre-service teaching in light of national and international quality standards.(Published abstract) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_en.gif OP (PDF) 1 http://search.shamaa.org/fulltext.gif
